Teflon® Expansion Joints

Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE) is a thermal plastic resin developed by DuPont, and has numerous applications in expansion joint designs.

Zepco uses Teflon-coated and laminated composites for manufacturing Non-Metallic Expansion Joints. Our Teflon PTFE fiberglass composites and laminates are engineered to survive highly corrosive environments and severe temperatures. These composites are constructed using high quality woven fiberglass fabrics that treated with Teflon dispersion coating and laminated with Teflon films to provide superior flex and permeation properties and well as excellent high temperature performance.
